Roofing & exteriors

The storm passes. Two hundred people call at once.

Roofing demand in Central Florida does not arrive evenly. It arrives in 48-hour walls after weather, and the contractor who answers during that window books the season.

How the day actually goes

Where the work leaks.

Most weeks the phone is manageable and you're closing off referrals and door knocks. Then a system comes through, and for two days your call volume is ten times normal — homeowners with water in the ceiling, adjusters, and a lot of people who just want someone to look. You physically cannot answer them all. The ones you miss don't wait; there are trucks from three states in the neighborhood by Thursday.

  • The post-storm surge you can't staff for

The most concentrated demand of your year arrives faster than any human phone tree can absorb it.

  • Insurance questions you answer over and over

Hours a week explaining deductibles, adjuster meetings, and what a supplement is — the same six answers, every time.

  • Financing questions that stall a signed estimate

A homeowner sitting on a $22,000 proposal usually isn't shopping. They're working out whether they can pay for it.

  • Inspection requests that never get scheduled

Free-inspection leads are your cheapest pipeline and the first thing dropped when the office is buried.

What to start with

Named by the job it does for you.

  1. Start here

Answer questions & book jobs, 24/7

Built for the surge. It can hold as many conversations at once as you need, so the 40 people who called during the two hours after a storm all get a real answer — address captured, damage described, inspection booked — instead of a busy signal that sends them to the out-of-state truck.

    $950 then $95/mo
  2. Then

Take job details overnight, draft the estimate

Overnight leak reports arrive with photos of the ceiling stain, the roof age, and whether a claim is already open — so you know before 7am which calls are a tarp emergency and which are a Tuesday inspection.

    $1,500 then $150/mo
  3. Then

    Text back every missed call

Every missed call during the surge gets a text inside a minute. In a week when a homeowner is calling six contractors, being the one that responds first is most of the sale.

    $750 then $95/mo
  4. Then

Ask for a review, every time

Asks for the review after the final inspection passes — and routes a homeowner who is unhappy about the landscaping or the nail cleanup to you first, before it becomes a public one-star about the whole job.

    $600 then $60/mo

When it gets busy

The Central Florida calendar.

Hurricane season runs June through November and defines the year, but the more reliable driver in Central Florida is the routine afternoon thunderstorm — hail and straight-line wind damage that never makes the news and still produces claims. Winter and early spring are when re-roofs and insurance-mandated replacements get scheduled, because carriers here increasingly refuse to renew a policy on a roof past a certain age. That last point is worth a page of its own on your site: a lot of your calls are people whose insurer just sent a letter.

The site itself

What your website has to do.

  • A storm-response page that can handle a rush of traffic when a storm comes through, with the inspection request first on it
  • Plain-language insurance-claim explanation, since most of your leads have never filed one
  • Financing options and monthly figures, not just total project prices
  • Material and warranty detail — homeowners comparing three bids are comparing shingle lines and workmanship terms

All of it is included in the published prices — see the tiers.

Before you call

What roofing owners ask.

Can it handle a few hundred calls in an afternoon?

That's the case it's built for. It doesn't queue — every conversation runs at once, so the fortieth person after a storm gets the same response as the first. This is the one place where an assistant does something no amount of hiring can.

Will it tell someone their damage is covered by insurance?

No. It's explicitly barred from that — coverage is the carrier's call and a wrong answer creates an expectation you have to eat. It explains how the process works and books the inspection, which is the honest version of that conversation anyway.

How do I stop it wasting time on people who just want a free roof?

Qualify in the conversation. It can ask roof age, whether there's active leaking, whether a claim is open, and whether they own the property — and route accordingly. You decide which combinations reach your phone and which get a scheduled inspection.

Storm season is six months. Do I pay for it the other six?

Yes, and it earns then too — re-roofs, insurance non-renewal letters, and routine repairs run year-round. If the economics only work for you seasonally, say so on the visit and we'll talk about whether this is the right assistant at all.
