The phone rings during service. Nobody can get it.

Every call between 6 and 9pm is a reservation, a large party, or a catering order — and every one of them arrives at the exact moment there is nobody free to answer.

How the day actually goes

Where the work leaks.

Prep, then the doors open, then it's hands on deck until close. The phone rings through service and the honest answer is that it mostly doesn't get answered — the host is seating, the manager is expediting, and picking up means walking away from a full dining room. So the party of twelve looking for Saturday, the office ordering lunch for thirty, and the guest asking whether you can do gluten-free all hit voicemail during the only hours they think to call.

  • Large-party and private-event inquiries during service

The highest-value bookings you take, arriving in the two hours you are least able to answer.

  • Catering orders that go to whoever answers

An office lunch order is a repeat account, and it goes to the first restaurant that picks up.

  • Hours, parking, and allergen questions

Dozens a night, each one pulling a host off the floor for a question the website should have answered.

  • Reviews left only by the unhappy

The table that had a great night says nothing. The one with a slow entrée posts that evening.

What to start with

Named by the job it does for you.

  1. Start here

Answer questions & book jobs, 24/7

Answers through service without pulling anyone off the floor: hours, parking, whether you take walk-ins, what's actually gluten-free, whether the patio is dog-friendly. Takes the large-party and private-event inquiry properly — date, headcount, budget, occasion — and puts it in front of your manager the next morning as a complete lead.

    $950 then $95/mo
  2. Then

Take job details overnight, draft the estimate

Catering and event intake overnight. The office manager planning Thursday's lunch fills it in at 10pm; a drafted order with headcount, dietary restrictions, and delivery window is waiting when you open.

    $1,500 then $150/mo
  3. Then

    Text back every missed call

Every unanswered call during service gets a text back — hours, a link to book, and an offer to take a large-party request by message. It turns the calls you were always going to miss into ones you didn't.

    $750 then $95/mo
  4. Then

Ask for a review, every time

Asks for the Google review the evening of the visit, and routes a complaint to your manager privately first — which is the difference between a fixable problem and a permanent one-star.

    $600 then $60/mo

When it gets busy

The Central Florida calendar.

Orlando's restaurant calendar is driven by tourism and convention traffic more than by weather. Theme-park attendance peaks around spring break, summer, and the winter holidays, and the convention calendar fills mid-week covers that residential neighborhoods never see. Corporate catering follows the office calendar, spiking around the holidays and quarterly meetings. If you're in a residential pocket rather than a tourist corridor, your pattern is closer to the opposite — busiest when the visitors leave.

The site itself

What your website has to do.

  • A menu in real text, not a PDF or a photo — it's the most-visited page you have and search can't read an image
  • Hours and parking findable in one glance, because that's the most common reason anyone calls
  • A private-events and catering page with a real inquiry path, not just a phone number
  • Allergen and dietary information stated plainly, which is now a common reason a group picks one restaurant over another

All of it is included in the published prices — see the tiers.

Before you call

What restaurant owners ask.

Will it take reservations?

It hands off to whatever booking system you already run — it doesn't replace OpenTable or Resy. Where it earns its keep is everything those systems don't handle: large parties, buyouts, catering, and the questions that make someone call instead of book.

Can it answer allergen questions? That's a liability.

Only from what you publish, and it's built to say a manager will confirm rather than guess. Allergen answers are exactly the kind of thing that goes in your written rules before launch — you decide what it can state and what it must escalate.

Our menu changes constantly.

Menu updates are content changes, which is what the monthly plan covers. On a seasonal or weekly-special operation that's the plan doing its job — tell us what changed and it's live, including in what the assistant knows.

We're a single location. Is this overkill?

Depends entirely on how many calls you're missing between 6 and 9. If it's a couple a night and one is a large party, the arithmetic is easy. If your phone genuinely gets answered every time, it isn't — and I'll tell you that on the visit.
